ABOUT ME
I joined my current company, MAARCH Architects as a senior Architect in March 2024 after having spent 8 years with the international practice, Cottee Parker Architects.
At Maarch, based on my extensive experience, I have a very versatile, allrounder role, that includes team building and management, quality assurance, development and introduction of BIM systems, design, documentation and on site project management.
Working as an architect for 25 years I gained international experience both in Architectural design and Construction. Before moving to Australia, I worked in the United Kingdom, in the Republic of Ireland and in Central Europe. I also spent valuable time on site as QS team leader for a main contractor company in Hungary. Later, In Ireland I worked through a major commercial project from conceptual design to on site completion, and at last I worked on multi million pound educational, healthcare and custodial designs in Belfast and London. I have been living in Australia since 2012, mostly in Perth, but I spent 6 months in Melbourne too. In Australia, I had the opportunity to work on some iconic, high profile mixed use, residential and hotel projects, such as the Ritz Carlton in Perth and Melbourne or Queens Wharf in Brisbane.
My design and on-site experience make me an architect who is not only capable of cutting-edge design, but also aware of buildability and costs. I have worked on a large variety of projects like high end award winning five star hotels, resort and spa developments, retail projects, award winning office designs, educational buildings, custodial projects, and high-end residential designs.
As an Architect I work hard on delivering projects in time and on budget. I use all aspects of Building Information Modelling from basic CAD design (2D) through visualization and quantifiability (3D) to time (4D) and costs (5D).
